KOTONA design

KOTONA Design not only offers customers a design for their new or existing home, I take your worries completely out of your hands. Through personal contact and an informal atmosphere, there is a close bond between the customer and the designer. I work with beautiful, atmospheric materials and furniture and you take your interior to a higher level. Here I pay great attention to the smallest details, so the design fits perfectly in its new environment.

I have an eye for detail and want to get the best out of my qualities so that I can continue to grow as a designer and as a company. A realistic render of good quality immediately shows how I work as a designer.

Kimberley in 't Veen

After obtaining my senior general secondary education, in 2015 I obtained my secondary vocational education 'Interior advisor' at the Hout- en Meubileringscollege in Rotterdam.

After that, I continued my studies and at the moment I am studying Interior Design & Styling at the Jan des Bouvrie Academy in Deventer.

I think it's important to keep developing and learning new things. I will therefore certainly strive for this in my future as a designer. The passion for the architecture and culture of Scandinavia is the basis for KOTONA design.

Would you like a new color in your home, a new type of window covering or a different floor, but you have no idea where to choose from? Or do you want to change your entire interior? In response to your wishes, I come up with a concept in which functionality, aesthetics and beautiful materials come together in your new interior.

Besides designing interiors, I am also involved in graphic design. I ensure that the branding is implemented in, for example, business cards, brochures and writing paper. So, do you need a new, fresh identity for your current or new company? Please contact me for the possibilities.

I also design abstract art. The images are sharp and have a high resolution so that reproductions on all sizes and various materials is possible. Possible in different colors and sizes.

Kimberley chose our house as a project for her graduation assignment to give advice as an interior designer. She certainly helped us with different choices and was always there for us when we had a question. She also gave us good advice about our different ideas. She let us made our own moodboards, independant from each othter. So we came to new insights about our own style and the style of eachother. Kimberley is very accessible, open, honest and very pleasant to work with. I would absolutely recommend her.
